¡ª¡ª China is like a dragon thrashing in three civilizations
While the western world has completed its process of industrialization and
has marched into the knowledge age, China, an aged dragon, is still crawling through the tunnel of time and space. Though the head of the dragon has reached the era of knowledge economy, its body is still in a time of industrialization and its tail is still dragged in a primitive agricultural age. With the thrashing of the dragon, three kinds of civilizations are melted in the same pot. Upon this understanding, we interpret the knowledge times referred to by westerners as the correspondence of wealth and knowledge times in China. We believe the latter term is more adequate to describe the market situation in this country.
